Central Nebraska All-Star Classic

Grand Island Senior High coach Dave Oman, who instituted the Central Nebraska All-Star Basketball Classic in 1999, with the help of the Grand Island Independent serves as Game Coordinator.  This All-Star Classic features the best players in Central Nebraska.  Since its origination, Aurora has been represented by 5 players who have performed very well during the event. The game is usually played the first Friday in June each summer.
