Our Elementary School consists of grades K-5 and serves approximately 550 students. Grades are separated into four pods.  There are 22 teachers in grades kindergarten through five.

In addition to the regular curriculum for each grade, instruction is offered in art for grades three through five and vocal music for all grades.  Instrumental music is offered to students in grade five.

This is the training ground for our young Husky pups as they learn the Aurora Elementary and Staff value of education and the meaning of hard work. Students have the opportunity to be involved in various activities, including Future Problem Solving, vocal and instrumental music and other programs designed to develop young minds.

The Elementary Principal is Mark Standage.  He comes to Aurora with 17 years of experience in education.

Sally Carlson is the Assistant Principal/District Special Education Director.  She came to Aurora in 2002 and has 32 years of experience in education
