Approximately 330 students in grades 9-12
comprise the Aurora High School population and attend classes
scheduled within an 8 period day. They are served by
30 teachers. Read more about the curriculum

Academic excellence is synonymous with the
Aurora Public Schools. Sixty students from the class
of 2004 were awarded a total of $750,000 in scholarships.
Students have been selected to participate within University
Honors Programs as University of Nebraska Regents Scholars,
Leadership Programs and the Rural Health Opportunities Program.
The class of 2004 had nine seniors who received a composite
ACT score of 30 or above. Comments from post-secondary
school recruiters indicate a high regard for the abilities
of Aurora students to successfully handle the challenges of
college level curriculums.
Aurora High School's Principal is Doug Kittle.
Mr. Kittle has 15+ years of experience in education and has
been Principal since 1997.
