Business
The business courses at Aurora High School
will provide skills that students will use in their adult
lives. These courses should allow students to function financially
in our economy today. by taking advanced courses in the Business
Department, a student can gain enough experience to qualify
for an entry-level position for some business occupations.
Students who are following this business
sequence for a career should also have three years of English
including Speech and three years of Mathematics. Students
planning special careers in other areas and relating them
to the business area should take as many of these courses
as possible while in High School. Business students are encouraged
to join the Future Business Leaders of America student organization
to obtain leadership training, a chance to interact with other
business students, and other special experiences related to
business.
