Middle School Exploratory Classes
Six week exploratory courses are offered
at the 7th and 8th grade level. The intent of the exploratory
courses is to provide all students with a wide range of enrichment
courses to explore and develop interests. All exploratory
courses are required of our 7th and 8th grade students.
Electives
Elective courses are provided for all students
in the 8th and 9th grade. Eighth grade courses are designed
as interest building courses and are taught over a nine week
period. Students may select any four of the six nine-week
courses which consist of : Ag Ed, Ind.Tech, Business, Art,
FCS, and Spanish, in addition to Band, Choir, and Civics.
Ninth grade courses are set up as semester
or year long courses. Students may select from a wide variety
of classes listed below.
Along with their exploratories 7th grade
students may select one of the following electives.
